5H Farms  has moved to Tucson, Arizona due to a career move. We  are downsizing to a few select horses for performance in dressage and jumping . Marci and Michaela intend to spend more time in the show ring and less taking care of babies in the near future! 

We therefore have 5 horses for sale at this time, one of which is an inutero Gypsy baby to be born in June.  We will entertain all offers on the horses for sale. We are firm only on the Haflinger Mare Loanna Gold. 

 We have updated photos and information on all of the horses that are for sale. All are beautiful and talented and would be a pleasure to have in your barn.  Video's available on some and we can get footage of any as requested.

Welcome to 5H Farms where our goal is to provide the highest quality Gypsy Horses, Haflingers and Sportcrosses for both pleasure and competition use in the Rocky Mountain Region. We breed for exceptional temperaments, combined with conformation, beauty and athleticism.

5H farms is owned by Bryant and Marci Hicks and was founded in 2002 with the purchase of our first Haflinger,  NonChalance BCH. It has been a fast "ride" since then. We believe our horses of age need to be working, so all of our horses are started under saddle by age 3 and spend some time on trails, in basic dressage and also experimenting with Cross country or hunting. We have been fortunate to have some success early on and had the  Rocky Mountain Grand Champion Mare and Gelding in 2004 - Non Chalance BCH and Woody. Woody ( a son of Winterschon) went on to clinch the same title in 2005 and also qualified that year for the Young Event Horse Championship. He was a joy in every area.   

We expanded our herd to include the Gypsy Horse  in 2006 and have grown to love their temperament as well as athleticism. We will continue to bred our horses on a limited basis for both purebreds and crosses. 

 Our first two crosses  were born( Gypsy Vanner x Registered Haflinger) in 2007 and what a pleasure those foals are!! Jewely and Flynn are proving to have beautiful and athletic movement while maintaining exceptional coloring and temperament. Flynn should be an exceptional sport horse prospect as both sire and dam are athletic and talented. He should mature to 15.1- 15.2 hand range. Jewely will be a very cute sport pony and should excell in driving as well as pony jumpers.  Both maintain solid bone but are more refined.

Our goal is to maintain and provide for sale a few athletic horses of beautiful color and conformation with nice bone, excellent temperaments and talent for sport and pleasure use.  The purebreds and the crosses  are all demonstrating these characteristics. We handle our horses daily so that even the babies are fully socialized. They all pick up feet for the farrier, tie, clip, load and bathe.
